Generative sequencing

A little experiment. This track uses only the sound of my voice singing a single note, re-sampled polyphonically and sequenced by a generative programme which is controlled by a monome. So the structure somewhat determines itself – the number of times one note occurs influences when another note occurs. This can also be influenced in real time using the device by altering the routing of note triggers, and how many triggers are needed.

So it’s basically a live take, the only post-production is adding reverb.
